I have had many successes small and big in Scientology as I have trained and received counselling but, in truth, the most important success is the impact that application of Scientology principles has had on my life in general.
As I mentioned in the "About me" page, I was a nerd in the making, I can sit here today and imagine what a ghastly person I would have turned out to be, it makes my skin crawl. I was so introverted and without a life I would have remained single (what girl would have had me?) and possibly without a job, at best I would have been some cog in a big machine with dreams but no true ambition or ability.
Instead I discovered Scientology and over a period of years applied what I learnt from it. I won't claim I changed overnight, because I didn't but from my first course in communication I discovered how to make my life better.
Scientology isn't magic, but the effects can be magical.
Now I have a wife with whom I will spend the rest of my life, we love each other totally -- it's not that we never disagree but it happens very seldom and is always resolved quickly.
We have two children, Deanna and Ben, who prove that an upbringing based on Scientology principles makes a real difference:
Deanna is very bright, loves to read and everyone who meets her comments on how delightful she is. They also often say how "lucky" we are. But it isn't luck, it's Scientology. And Ben, though still very young, is the proof of that, already the comments are coming in about how bright and aware he is, just the same as it was for Deanna at that age.
Anyone can use Scientology to make their lives better, but unless you do use it, it won't have any effect at all. But we do use it, and it does.
